Some things to remember:

A member of the OTC (Ontario Tribal Council) will be coming on Thursday to discuss our Video Narratives regarding your experiences interviewing Elders or Missing and Murdered Indigenous women so keep that in mind when you’re working on them. Mr. Delery feels the OTC may be able to use this idea and format to help F.N. communities across Canada and the US address and educate others about some of their concerns as well.

Also, I have made a new page tab at the top of the blog so you have the outline and reference sheet for the Virtue Responses if you find yourself at home without them.

Monday: Wade’s group and the Emily’s teaching Grade 5s cooperative games in gym; Computer Lab – work on Narratives; Mr. Fisher coming in to discuss the Science Fair (NOTE** PROJECTS DUE MARCH @24th). Hoa providing lunch for Taylor, Marissa, Whitney, Hannah and Jillian during lunchtime interviews.

Tuesday: Hoa will be working with very small groups to continue with your Video Narratives while others work through a variety of ‘centres’ — as in complete the following: extracting DNA from either strawberries or spinach, Virtue Response based on 3 paragraph outline, Algebra package, this week’s Math bellwork pkg, spelling practice, and treaties package. Hoa providing lunch for Josh, Bryden, Keifer and Joe during lunchtime interviewing.

Wednesday: No NSL (switching with the Grade 4s so Mr. Snache can join us at the Seniors for our appreciation luncheon); work on any incomplete assignments from yesterday; 11:20 – bus to the Senior’s Centre – return at 1:00; Boy’s Basketball Tournament 2:00 until 5:00 – 4 score keepers needed who can stay until 5.

Thursday: OTC member coming in the afternoon to see our Video Narratives, otherwise a normal day; Hoa providing lunch for Wade, Jay, Damon, all Emily’s, Trinity during lunchtime interviews.

Friday: Spelling test; Virtue response due; Math bellwork pkg due; Fun Friday Gym.

IMPORTANT!!!

Our picture day is NOT, I repeat, NOT tomorrow. It has been rescheduled again for March 22nd (the Wednesday after March Break).

For many this may work out much better anyways as you’ve yet to locate a white dress shirt (with collar) to wear under the gown. 🙂
