Math Prodigy Accounts

Your Math prodigy accounts have been set up. You will be given some computer lab time during the week but it is recommended that you take some of your own time to work through the assignments posted. I print the reports from your accounts and this contributes to both your understanding of these concepts as well as your marks for your report cards. This is meant as a fun and interactive way to review concepts and reinforce mathematical understanding that you have acquired over the past few years.

Your log in information can be found at the bottom of the letter you will be taking home this afternoon.

By now everyone should have given their Progress Reports to their parents or those who support them at home. Starting tomorrow, Parent Teacher conferences will begin after school; make sure your parent(s)/guardian(s) call in or send in their interview time requests so we can get everyone scheduled. If there is anything on your report that you are confused about or question please don’t hesitate to ask me about it.

** We have been invited to participate in Saturday’s Santa Claus Parade in Washago — permission/commitment forms were given out last Thursday. We MUST have these returned no later than tomorrow in order to arrange the busing and determine if there will be enough musicians to participate. ***

Monday: Gym; Band practice; math homework is to prepare you for Friday’s test so make sure you do some at home each night and come the next day with your questions; Senior Boys’ drum group is now at 2:40 on Mondays; extra support for Brass from Ms. Town; new spelling lists (some of you have changed groups so make sure you pick up the correct list and puzzle); computer lab 2:00-3:30.

Tuesday: I’m trying to get more computer lab time for today since we missed ours yesterday due to Band; we will need to upload our virtual tours for our epals in Vietnam — these will be posted in the Discussion forum (make sure you use the printed instructions provided); Band practice today; Girls’ Basketball in the MASK at 3:30 ** Remember that if you are not keeping up with your work you will not be participating in these games!

Wednesday: Continued review for Math test on Friday; Circle with Twobear at 11:20; Girls’ Basketball in the MASK at 3:30; make sure you are continuing to review your Math as well as your spelling for Friday.

Thursday: Boys Areas 12-6:00; Gym is unavailable after 11:30; continuation with Math review; Keep in Mind that your three paragraph virtue response is due tomorrow, your math and spelling tests are also tomorrow.
